Papertrey Ink December 2017 Release - Day 4

Huggable: Bear Mini kit, Pencil arrows die, Paper sack closure die

Yes...... we are in the home stretch and you've seen almost all of the fabulous new December products from Papertrey Ink! Lots on view today as we present Betsy Veldman's Huggable: Monkey and Bear Mini Kits, TWO special dies from Erin Lincoln: the Pencil Arrows Die and Paper Sack Closure Die AND two new designs from Lexi Daly - the Fun Lovin' stamp set and Matchbook Medley die set.

Today I'm having some fun with the Huggable: Bear Mini Kit, Pencil Arrows die and Paper Sack Closure die. Erin is up to something clever, and just in time for Valentine's Day! You can create these adorable arrows for classmates or the special little ones in your life, using pencils, straws or, maybe, some nice, sugary Pixy Stix. And the Paper Sack Closure die does all of the work for you in lining up just the right spot to thread your arrow!

I found a red/white sack in my stash and a few gray/white straws.... just perfect for this project. And doesn't the little Soft Stone/Smokey Shadow/Pure Poppy panda makes the cutest tag? Such a great way to decorate your Valentine treat bags! I've also die cut the edge of the paper sack with one of the new Round Off Edgers dies as an added accent.

Well... that's all for today. BUT, please be sure to check out the Papertrey Blog, where you'll find an abundance of inspiration from the rest of the PTI crew! Many thanks for taking a peek!

CAS(E) this Sketch #250

Happy Thursday and welcome to CTS #250 (WOW!) ..... a beautiful floral sketch designed by Leigh!
The lovely and new-to-me Lil' Inkers Cover Up die was my starting point. Don't the Geometric Snowflakes look a little bit like flowers?? Lots of white, a big bold sentiment and done (just a wee bit of piecing and die cutting required)!
There's so much great inspiration from the DT, so be sure to take a peek and then play along with us at CAS(E) this Sketch #250!
P.S. - A warm welcome to GD, Wanda!
AND many thanks for continuing to play along with us, keeping this challenge fun AND our gallery full of amazing creations!

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Blue Gift'

Welcome to the newest Fusion Card Challenge - 'Blue Gift'! The amazing inspiration photo is a wonderful starting point. But that sketch is pretty great too! So which will you try??
Both the lovely photo and the fabulous sketch  have helped to create this card, with lots of beautiful blues and grays, a few lovely dies from Frantic Stamper and a bit of sparkle... courtesy of the soft shimmer of the Paper Source card stock and a few sparkle-y berries/foliage.
The DT has some amazing inspiration! SO, be sure to HOP on over and join the party.
When playing along you may use the sketch OR the photo as you jumping off point. OR, if you are feeling super duper clever, you can fuse 'em together!
